Wine Advocate 93 points!"The 2005 Grenache "Cornerstone" was sourced from 62-year-old vines and aged in a mix of new and used French oak. It is dark ruby-colored with a nearly exotic perfume of smoke, Asian spices, rhubarb, and black cherry. Sweet and seamless on the palate, it is intense, full-flavored, pure, and very long. Drink it now and over the next 10 years."

"A late inclusion at the tasting the best way to describe this wine is imagine a meat lovers pizza with extra salami and bbq sauce, however the palate is very much grenache looking like pinot noir, which is a very good thing for a wine with food."
