Greenock Creek consistently delivers outstanding quality to wine lovers and is rightly acknowledged as a premier example of warm climate Cabernet, Grenache and Shiraz. The fruit is picked from vines planted from as far back as 1989 and is fermented in large, open-top fermenters before being gently basket pressed with the free-run and pressings kept separate until final blending and bottling. The wine is left to mature in large-format, seasoned French oak before being bottled unfined and filtered.
These wines display all the requisite characteristics of variety and region along with the rich and sumptuous mouth feel for which Greenock Creek is renowned. A fantastic entree into the stable of wines made at this iconic winery.
