The 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon (100% Cabernet Sauvignon from 11-year old vines, aged in a combination of one-year old and new French oak) is a fruit-dominated wine with the classic cassis intermixed with a touch of herbs, a slight notion of volatile acidity, and a spicy finish. The wine is full-bodied, ripe, but at the same time, elegant, particularly for a Greenock Creek wine.
