"Intense blackberry, assertive yet elegant cedary oak aromas and dark cocoa that support the fruit aromatics.
The palate is rich, layered and complex. Dense black fruits hit the front of the palate, with powdery textural tannins providing support and length. A wine built with excellent cellaring capacity and will drink well for many years to come.
The 2019 vintage was one of the driest we have experienced. Below average winter rainfall, coupled with a dry spring and summer resulted in naturally lower yields across the vineyards. These conditions resulted in rich and concentrated wines, although low in quantity." - Grant Burge
