"Follows in the footsteps of the exceptional ’21. Giant Steps has its fruit sourcing, and minimalist winemaking, down to a fine art. It has an exotic, warm, spice-filled bouquet with musk and strawberry cream flavours. Makes it seem easy. It’s not." - James Halliday
"2022 was a very small, high quality vintage in the Yarra Valley. The vineyards developed dark green healthy canopies with strong vine energy and good fruit set. This resulted in smaller crops with concentrated bunch flavour, vibrant colours and high natural acidity.
Made from Pinot Noir and Syrah. Hand-picked, whole bunch pressed taking only the fresh free run. Drink by itself while sitting in the sun. Grilled anchovies on fresh tomato bruschetta. BBQ King prawns with smoked paprika aioli. Goats cheese baked on sourdough crouton over a rocket lettuce salad. Melon wrapped with prosciutto.” – Giant Steps
