A cool late ripening season has delivered a delicately spiced shiraz with notes of cracked pepper, beetroot, red plums and olive tapenade. This wine is immediately appealing; the tannins are soft with perfectly balanced acidity that helps draw out the vibrant red fruit flavours. Very approachable in its youth, this will develop complex notes of sous-bois with a few years bottle age.
