The last release of Giaconda Cabernet!
As a result of the replanting programme here and Giaconda and grafting of some older vines to Shiraz; the 2012 vintage will be our last release of Cabernet Suavignon.
An exemplary aroma of cassis, cushed tobacco leaf, bay leaf, cedar and vanilla wafting around red to black fruits quintessential of Cabernet. Fine and silky mouth-feel combining with extract and tannins to create a long and savoury palate fuelled by cassis and cedar flavours that linger in the mouth. What a swan song, saving the best for last as the vines pull up stumps and head west. Fittingly leaving behind Giaconda's best ever Cabernet.
