"This is the second release of this particular chardonnay. It is a wine focused on crisp, pristine fruit flavours of our Gin-Gin clone chardonnay grown on the south facing slopes of the estate. It is partially barrel fermented, lees stirred and has undergone no malolactic fermentation. This chardonnay is more "Chablis" in style when compared to the Fraser Gallop Estate Parterre Chardonnay, which is more "Mersault" like. Very crisp and clean lines, with flavours of lemon/grapefruit and a lick of oatmeal cream on the finish.

Juicy sort of orange and nectarine fruit, light oak, some wheaty character and a wisp of struck match. Medium bodied with a good core of well measured bright acidity and a spicy stonefruit, citrus and oatmeal finish. Direct and tasty, but not lacking style."
