Huon Hooke 94 points!"The Bordeaux fancier in me is soothed by the lovely labels of Fraser Gallop. I find a particularly Australian sense of humour in having the winery sheds pictured on the entry level wines, though I hasten to add, they are pretty nice looking sheds.
Mixed berries, cocoa and vanilla, tobacco, and this lovely perfume wafting about. Medium bodied, silky and tightly packed, clean acidity, ripe but fresh berry fruit, with a distinct 'minerally' feel to it. Freshness, length, complexity and effortless drinkability. Absolutely bang on. Can't recall a better release of this wine."
