"Blackberry, dark cherry, spice, almonds, violet top note, and plenty of sweet smoky earth and suede leather. Medium-bodied, bright but rich in cherry and red fruits, an orange tang through thick silty tannin, lots of grip and an earthy, inky, tea infused finish of excellent length. The earthy pulse of Chianti is captured well in bottle here, albeit in a fairly modern style." 94 Points
