"Very spicy, herbal, weedy, liquorice laden, blue fruited and utterly delicious. Light to medium bodied, mescal flavours, blue and red fruits, light grainy tannin, bright acidity, surprisingly good length with chamois traction on the finish. Slap me again. Meunier without bubbles never had it so good. Banana split in the aftertaste. I know, sounds weird, but tastes great!"

The breakaway wine. The fruit is selected from a plot set among the Madden's Rise Pinot Noir vines in Coldstream. This is a vibrantly perfumed red offering sweet cherry fruit, pepper spice and herbal aromas. The palate is light in body, pleasingly sweet-sour, and finishes wickedly crunchy."
