“Single vineyard meunier from the Yarra Valley and a star young producer. Young ‘n’ fresh off the Maddens Rise vineyard in Coldstream. Heaps of whole bunch, then to old oak. Meunier seems to be enjoying some time in the sun, particularly from Yarra Valley’s more progressive winemakers.

Brambly, briary scents, red cherry, sniffs of currants and then the cavalcade of pepper. Sweetish, candied berries and strawberry jam flavours, offering bright fruit personality and some fine, chalky tannins. Touch of spice, lift of green herbs in the palate too. Spot on for skolling. Lovely drinking. Easy as.”
