"Always terrific, this usually sits in the shadow of its outstanding big borther, Block 1 Riesling, which carries a similar amount of residual sugar. In this vintage I awarded both wines the same score, but (very) marginally preferred the Bannockburn. Extraordinar riesling with 63g/l of residual sugar beautifully restrained by taut, ripe acidity to give this wine equisite tension. Delicious now, but will age well. Impossible to fault"
