Campbell Mattinson 92 points!
Campbell Mattinson 92 points! It smells fantastic. Of rich cakey blackberry and strong, spicy, coffeed French oak, of the most seductive kind. It's murky to look at and somewhat murky to taste " it feels like a "natural" wine with low apparent sulphur, wild yeast influences, zesty texture (it's flavoursome, but not at all thick or syrupy or smooth) and bare, boney, almost hard (but ripe) tannins. It won't be to everyone's liking; it's different. Characterful is the word, I think. Personally, I could drink a fair bit of this.
