Jeremy Oliver 93 points!" I was genuinely surprised by this wine, coming as it does from such a difficult season. It's more restrained but also more driven by genuinely ripe fruit than recent vintages, with an attractive spread of smoky, lightly meaty flavours of raspberries and plum jam. Look further and you'll see suggestions of cassis, prunes and currants, with some herbal edges over some charry vanilla oak. It's very smooth, rich and generous, wrapped in silky tannins. Quite a classy expression of its style, and sure to please many people. Drink 2008-2012+."

Bob Campbell 94 points!"The developed forest floor bottle-age characters in this intense yet elegant wine contrasted with the more youthful characters of other wines in the tasting. It gives a glimpse of what it will be, beacuse the wine has another decade or so of positive bottle development ahead of it. Weighty (but not heavy) Shiraz with an array of dried fruit, chocolate, coffee and anise flavours."

Robert Parker 92 points!"The classic 2000 Command Shiraz (aged nearly three years in new oak) possesses an opaque purple color as well as aromas of melted licorice, new saddle leather, roasted meats, truffles, black currants, and blackberries. Full-bodied and chewy, with supple tannin and a blockbuster finish, it will drink well for 10-12 years."
