Jeremy Oliver 93 Points!
Robert Parker 92 points!
Jeremy Oliver Rating 93!A deeply accentuated, heady nd minty aroma of dark olives an plums, cassis and menthol, backed by nuances of graphite and iodide. Medium to full in weight, it's concentrated but surprisingly elegant and polished, even finely crafted nd restrained. It easily carries its choclate/vanilla oak, while there's just a hint of current about its brambly fruit. Framed by firmish, but velvet-smooth tannins.

Robert Parker 92 points!"The single vineyard 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Ashmead is one of Barossa's finest Cabernets. An inky/purple color is accompanied by notes of graphite, black currants, dried herbs, and cedar. Rich, full, layered, and impressively endowed, it possesses plenty of grip and tannin. It has handled its three-year aging in new oak beautifully. A connoisseur's favorite, this 2002 should hit its prime in 3-5 years, and last for 15 or more."
