"From low-yielding vines in the southern pocket of Beechworth, Domenica creates a delicate Nebbiolo, one that is merely reminiscent of fiercely tannic wine of Piedmont. Although it has recognisably Nebbiolo tannin, they are slightly more subdued due to extended maturation in large oak barrels, allowing them to soften and integrate into the wine. Cranberry and other red fruit taking centre stage while the black fruit, what Nebbiolo is famous for, takes a supporting roll. Hints of blackberry leaf, rose and spice round everything out and create an expressive and complex palate." - Winehouse
