Variety: 100% Pinot Noir
Sub-Appellation: Cote de Nuits - Villages
Region: Burgundy, France
"The 2011 Cote de Nuits Village has a broody but enticing seaweed-tinged bouquet which like the Bourgogne Rouge, is very well- defined. The palate is medium-bodied with a chalky, slightly herbaceous opening. The tannins are crisp and taut, while the finish has a refreshing Loire-like pepperiness to it. Lovely."
