Francois Raquillet is an 11th generation vigneron in Burgundy's Cote Chalonnaise. Mercurey is the most well renowned appellation here and has the most Premier Cru sites in the sub region. 'Les veleys' meaning 'The Valley' is regarded as one of the most prized Premier Crus.
