"The 2014 Gevrey Chambertin Vieilles Vignes has a pure and fragrant bouquet with red rose petals infusing the vivid red cherry and fresh strawberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied, quite tight and reserved on the entry with a keen line of acidity, correct and linear towards the fresh finish."

"(from Les Champs Perriers in Brochon) There is enough reduction to mask the fruit but there is good freshness and verve to the more intense, mineral-driven and muscular flavors that possess a sleek mouth feel thanks to the relatively fine-grained tannins. I very much like the overall depth as well as the fine persistence on the well-balanced finish. Recommended. Drink: 2022+"

"Deep plum and red cherry aromas are lifted by spice and mineral nuances. Juicy, shapely and deep; more delineated and filled in than the Gevrey-Chambertin Aux Echézeaux, which nearly every vintage strikes me as more Chambolle in character (these vines are situated on the southern edge of Gevrey-Chambertin). Finishes with firm, integrated tannins and very good length."
