This family owned Domaine has been growing and producing wine in the Morgon AOP for several generations with the Domaine shifting and evolving across the last century. The latest generation has scaled the Domaine back to its original sites, with a strong focus on sustainability and tending to vines that were first planted by their great, great grandparents.
The 'Corcelette' site is in fact a lieu-dits situated between the prominent Cru's of Morgon and Chiroubles, with Fleurie in the north. The vines are grown on the famous granitic and sandy soils of the Crus Beaujolais zone resulting in wines that are beautifully perfumed with delicate tannins. The Morgon-Corcelette is lighter than a typical Morgon with floral notes and silky texture that sit along side wild cherry, raspberry and plum, finishing with good length and minerality. - Wine House
