"Deep, closed and layered, this brooding young pinot is awaiting its time to flourish in several years to come. Dark and spicy with a deep, but restrained perfume of rose petals, sweet black and red cherries, a hint of dark plum and restrained cedary, dusty vanilla oak, it has a sumptuous, elegant palate of fullish to medium weight. Deep and layered, with a restrained presence of fruit underpinned by fine, grainy tannin, it's long and tightly knit with tight-grained oak, finishing with a lingering core of fruit backed by suggestions of mint , underbrush and dried herbs."
