"Domaine Félines Jourdan's vineyards are found near the Mediterranean ocean. The Félines vineyard is a gently sloping plain located on the banks of the Thau Lagoon, where the vines enjoy the cool marine air.
From a plot selection, this cuvée with a very expressive nose, is rich and complex. A beautiful aromatic burst of candied citrus fruits, exotic fruits and honeysuckle. Lots of flesh and roundness on the palate, with the lovely freshness and liveliness characteristic of Picpoul de Pinet. Grain on the finish and a good length.
Perfect with seafood, oysters, and the very good with grilled fishes, sushis, scallop, lobster and crawfish." - Domaine Felines
"This is the step up in the Domaine Felines Picpoul range, and it delivers with added concentration and flavour. Mid lemon in colour with waxy preserved lemon and dried Provencal herbs. Saline savouriness tempers the palate weight and concentration found on this Picpoul. Acid is fresh and mouth-watering and the six months of lees stirring adds textural mouthfeel and more fullness on the palate. Lemon peel phenolics tighten the palate to finish dry and chalky. The 13.5% abv adds some warmth and weight." - Wine Pilot
