Gary Walsh 95 points!'I'd somehow forgotten to review this wine, but that's fixed now. Tick one off the list. This is a case of beauty and the beast perhaps, as it carries some taint from bushfire smoke, yet it does not spoil the wine for me. Smoke, pepper, rich dark cherry fruit and the perfume from whole bunches. It's medium bodied and dense, yet svelte and supple with perfectly judged creamy oak and delicious ripe dark spicy fruit. Super length with a little smoke on the finish - but boy what a lovely wine. I'm not sure how it will pan out with bottle age, but I'm optimistic nonetheless.'

It tastes of grilled meat, charcuterie, toast, coffee beans, blackberries and smoky spice - in terms of complexity, this is one with the lot. It has fantastic tannin structure, assertive but elegant it's a wine of certainty. Amazing.'
