“First Dalwhinnie Eagle Shiraz since the 2005. 30% whole bunches.

It’s a complex, layered wine. Has a terrific firmness too; it’s almost aristocratic. Flavours of beetroot and plum, soy and dried woody spice. Roses, red and fragrant. Swish, toasty, sawdusty oak, and a fair hit of it. Not particularly dense in terms of fruit weight, but powerful and persistent. Quite beautiful. Deserves to be lingered over. ”
