"The name's daft, the wine isn't. It's rose; whole-bunch pressed pinot noir, 3 hours on skins, aged in old French barriques for 5 months. Pale pink-copper; hint of redcurrants and watermelon, but really savoury with excellent texture and zesty acidity."

"Medium to deep rose colour, developed tile-red not unlike salmon-pink. The bouquet shows smoky, autmunal developed-strawberry pinot aromas of considerable charm. The wine is rich on the palate, not too dry but with frutiness and succulence. It's like a pinot saignee. A really delicious drink, in a fuller rose style. It fills the mouth superbly and lingers long on the finish, with marvellous vitality and reverberating flavours"

"Has a bit of a ‘natty wine’ feel, soft and a little a squishy, red fruits. spice and dried flowers, almost a chamomile flavour and smell, very fine chalky tannin, tangerine tang to the acidity, and a juicy finish of fine length. A bit of extra charisma and interest here"

"White Pinot is made with Pinot Noir from our estate, but is then made following a white winemaking approach. With dedicated fruit (not saignée) we whole bunch press Pinot Noir allowing a total of only 3 hours on skins, rendering it a pale pink blush. This is where it differs to a Rosé, which spends much longer on skins (up to 3 days) resulting in a different wine, both in colour and structure. From there the juice is barrel fermented, with texture being built via resting on lees for five months prior to bottling. The result is a flexible wine that can be easily enjoyed by itself, but also excels with a range of foods, such as sashimi, salumi, tapas and more.
Leading with a burst of red summer berries and fresh strawberry, layers of rosehip and dried flowers add sophistication. Elegant, savoury notes are found in the periphery as subtle chai spice derived from fermentation in French oak.
An immediately flavoursome stream of strawberry coulis merges with talc like tactility, running along a bedrock of cool, slaty acidity. With great depth of flavour and a refreshingly long finish, this is a perfect summer’s day in a glass. A serious summer wine!"
