Cool climates yield the best pinot gris. This is intense, delicious, not pretending to be bone-dry but full of charm and fruit and a subtle patina of oak from barrel fermentation. Creamy, spicy, talcy, dried floral aromas mixed up with various stone fruits. Lovely wine.
