"A beautifully pure, precise and crystalline expression of the Macedon Ranges, the earliest harvest in history has done nothing to disrupt its clean vibrant purity, cut with lime and lemon juice and almost ripe white peach. Retention of the majority of malic acidity makes for racy finish of ground glass minerality and long, focused, zesty persistence"
Tyson Stelzer, Wine Business Magazine, October 2018
"A wonderful, fragrant, fuller expression of Grenache, rich in sweet spices and exotic berry fruit character. It pours over the palate in a generous sluice of flavour, stains the mouth a little and exits on a waft of clove-cinnamon and jelly fruits. It's a lush, lovely thing to drink."
Mike Bennie, Wine Business Magazine, October 2018

"Lots of tension with very bright fruit. Lots to bite on. Crystal clear."

Wine of the Week!
"There has been a recent changing of the guard at Macedon Ranges icon Curly Flat with Matt Harrop now installed as chief winemaker. Not only is this an outstanding example of cool-climate chardonnay, it also offers quite spectacular value when compared alongside village Burgundy, for instance. Power and elegance co-exist happily here with a brisk citrus zing and more restrained peachy notes. This is a wine with delightful architecture and plenty of length, allied to tension and poise. It's main strength, however, is that it is downright delicious."

"A complex nose of bakers spice & white florals, struck match with sea spray salinity. Notes of lemon curd, preserved lime and fresh fig form a nose that is rich yet delicate. Powerfully elegant citrus driven palate, with grapefruit leading the charge. Seamless structure and mineral acidity provide elegant undercarriage and length to the immediately satisfying front & mid palate. Delicious!"
