"You don’t often think ‘Craiglee’ and then have your mind rush to a straight viognier, but hey, it can happen. Serious stuff here too. What a wonderful place and estate Craiglee is. May Sunbury never overrun this incredibly significant piece of Australian dirt and history.
Serious expression of the variety with structure, light chalky chew, intense, just ripe apricot characters, light floral notes and strong, quartz-like minerally characters, if you get that smooth, minerally feel. Exceptional length, feels deep and though slick with its inherent fruit character there’s flecks of cinnamon spice and cashew nut savouriness. It hits the high notes." - Mike Bennie, Wine Front
