Campbell Mattinson 92 Points!
Campbell Mattinson 92 Points!"I thought this release from Craiglee was (too) thin and (too) acidic at first. I was wrong.
Craiglee is never a blockbuster but this is light even by Craiglee shiraz standards. That said, it's not to be written off. What it really needs is time in the cellar. It's peppery, acidic, inscribed with delicately fine, purposeful tannin, and carried along by flavours of cranberry, cherry, twiggy herbs and musk. It smells delicious and once it's had time to breathe, it shows clearly what an elegant charming wine it will be in time. I'm won over."
