Gary Walsh 94 points!"Smells great. Dried cherry and redcurrant, mint/aniseed, floral notes " something like Nebbiolo at first I thought, but settled back to Sangiovese and certainly tastes like one. Medium bodied with firm acid and tannin " combines positive varietal attributes of grip and freshness to classic effect. Subtle leather flavours in there and a finish of excellent length. Feels good. Genuine and unforced. Distinctly Italianate in its delivery without losing its regional accent. Impressive."
