"Quite minty but also aniseedy too with cherries and leathery savoury flavours. Love the texture, plush, with a lovely spread of grainy tannin offering a firm but friendly grip on the finish. Sweet red fruit but feels savoury and correctly Sangiovese. Attractive dried herbal twang on the finish. Really good and a bit different. Texture's the thing here: Italia triumphs over the tricky 2007 vintage."
Gary Walsh, The Wine Front, Jul 2010

"The wine is pale garnet, with cherry-red tints and starting to show some typical Sangiovese development after 18 months in bottle. The nose is complex - earthy and rustic with chocolate also prominent. Iodine is a character seen in many aged wines from the Seaview region in McLaren Vale and is evident here.

The palate is medium bodied in weight but fine and generous with a soft texture and multi layered tannin structure. Will reward with time in the cellar.

"Vita" (life) expresses all the good things about this savoury, medium-weight wine that works wonderfully with food. We chose the name Vita as it conjures up an enjoyment of life, food, art and music. The wine has been selected from our best vineyards and barrels from Vintage 2007, with all components estate-grown on classic Terra Rosa soils."
