Jeremy Oliver 95 Points!"A complex and beautifully composed chardonnay with a spicy, slightly funky and toasty presence of lime juice, grapefruit and butterscotch backed by funky suggestions of smoked bacon, wheatmeal and pecan pie. Long and creamy, with a silky, fluffy mouthfeel, its luscious and seamlessly integrated palate finishes with a lingering minerality and core of flavour. However, while there is no obvious presence of smoke taint, there is just enough of a hint of bitterness at the finish to make me nervous. My score assumes a taint-free wine."
