Campbell Mattinson 95 points!"This is the 'real deal' Clonakilla viognier, matured in French oak and wild yeast fermented. It's definitely grown in the Canberra District wine region.
Highly textural. Obviously, but seductively, oaked. Cedarwood and ginger, toast and honeysuckle. Beautifully creamy mouthfeel before an exquisitely spicy finish. I'm rarely much taken with varietal viognier releases, but this is an outstanding wine. Gorgeous aftertaste. Gorgeous aromatics. Gorgeous flavour - and the persistence to back it all up."
