"This is the 'real deal' Clonakilla viognier, matured in French oak and wild yeast fermented. It's definitely grown in the Canberra District wine region. Highly textural. Obviously, but seductively, oaked. Cedarwood and ginger, toast and honeysuckle. Beautifully creamy mouthfeel before an exquisitely spicy finish. I'm rarely much taken with varietal viognier releases, but this is an outstanding wine. Gorgeous aftertaste. Gorgeous aromatics. Gorgeous flavour - and the persistence to back it all up."

"This breezy, fresh Viognier is right on the pace as always with a youthful appearance and aromas of fresh pear, apricot and peach dressed gentlyu on spiced complexity. The palate delivers seamlessly woven flavour and texture with a long, spiced pear finish."

"Crystalline and mineral, this savoury young viognier is fractionally raw-edged in its youth, but has the length and refinement to settle down with time in the bottle. Backed by dusty, musky scents of cloves and cinnamon, its nutty bouquet of apricot, melon and tangerine precedes an unctuous, concentrated and fleshy palate ... It finishes long, dry and nutty, with a lingering core of bright flavour."
