Campbell Mattinson 94 points!'It's made from Murrumbateman grapes, grown on a selection of (non-Clonakilla estate) vineyards. It has about two percent viognier included and was fermented using whole bunches. One year in French oak, 35 percent of it new. Class personified. Not as peppery/spicy as estate Clonakilla but rippling with fine ripe tannin and fleshed with gorgeous, cherry-plummed, boysenberried fruit power. Cedary oak plays a minor but supporting role and while a bottle of this went down beautifully last Sunday night, it's a long term wine. '
