The attack is soft and fleshy. It is not heavy; the tannins are still young but full of promise. Dark chocolate, mocha, graphite, and empyreumatic aromas along with sensual spices."

"Alicante Bouschet is a French grape variety, made in 1855 by Henri Bouschet in Montpellier. It results from the crossing of Petit Bouschet with Grenache. Now widely ripped for its rustic character, it was very common in the south of France."
