"Chateau Le Coteau is a little known family-owned Margaux estate owned by Eric Léglise and located in Arsac to the west of the appellation. Plantings are 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot.
2016 is considered another great vintage in Bordeaux following hot on the heels of the superb 2015. Margaux is an appellation well-know for producing fresh Cabernet Sauvignon that can retain its purity over time while its fine bone structure glides over the palate and that is what we have here. A wonderful, sensuous Margaux, with signature notes of cassis, earth and oak spice, medium bodied, delicate assertive tannins, soft mouthfeel and effortless length. Excellently made by winemaker and owner Eric Léglise. Drink now or put away for 5 -10 years." - Clos Cachet
