"Rosé from Bandol is so often a thing of beauty, and this is no exception. It’s light in colour, and soft in the mouth but has a fine milky/chalky texture to give it contrast and interest. And if it makes any sense, I’d call it a ‘peaceful wine’, and drinking it is akin to watching waves surge and ebb on a pretty beach. To talk about flavours, well, it’s stonefruit and wild herbs, with perhaps a little aniseed and small red berries. There’s a mandarin juice aftertaste too, which is very lovely and refreshing. Impossibly hard to stop drinking."
