"They've changed the label desgin of the Cape Mentelle wines again " I have a feeling that they are going to keep changing it until they end up with the design they started with. This version of the label is gold on the front and a kind of silver on the back; the new label is a reasonably good piece of design, but personally I'm not a fan of it.
Not that any of this is of import. You can't drink the designer (so to speak).
The wine here is good. Indeed very good. It tastes of pears and grapefruit, lemon and nutty, sawdusty oak. It's got a bit of body but it's essentially a lean-ish style, with distinct metallic, minerally aspects to the finish. Excellent peristence. Pretty swish-o."
