Blackcurrant and red fruits, cedar, capsicum and a leafiness typical of the cold year -has an aniseed sweetness in there that's lovely though. Not heavy or full bodied but has some richness and chocolate flavour as well as crisp fresh acidity and a little twigginess and firmness to the tannin. No complaints of the length. Very good outcome for the year, although it's certainly a cooler style. It will age, though I'm sure it will provide most pleasure in the short to medium term.
