Campbell Mattinson 95 Points!
Campbell Mattinson 95 Points!"The Farrside pinot noir is grown only 300 metres from the plot where the Sangreal pinot noir is grown, and yet the two vineyards are picked two weeks apart. Terroir at play. This is a pinot noir with a deep, dark heart.
It's naturally fermented with fifty percent whole bunches. It's rich with dark, cherry-berried fruits and smoky, peanutty oak. The tannin of the Sangreal is rippled and grunty; here it's slatey and firm. Terrific intensity from start to finish. Interspersed layers of savouriness and fruitiness. Outstanding."
