Campbell Mattinson 95+ Points!"This Farrside by Farr Pinot Noir 2008 is a very good wine.
Incredible focus. Everything drills uncompromisingly towards the finish. Twigs, spice, chalk, smoke, dry cherries, tonnes of tangy acid, tonnes of assertive tannin. I wanted to rate it higher (because I think it deserves it) but I'd like to see how this tannin pans out over time. In any case it's a brilliant wine. Serve this to the Europhiles (blind), they'd be amazed."

eRobertParker.com 92 Points!"With a medium ruby color, the 2007 Farrside Pinot Noir gives expressive aromas of red cherry, warm raspberry, game, spearmint and damp earth. The medium to full-bodied palate is crisp and concentrated with a medium level of fine grained tannins and a long finish. Delicious now, this should drink through 2015.
Since parting ways with Bannockburn, former winemaker Gary Farr has set about producing his own inimitable style of Geelong Pinots."
