Its opulent, heady aromas of dark cherries and plums are supported by chocolate oak, white pepper and spices. Its deeply flavoured, sumptuous spicy fruitcake-like palate reveals some sweet leathery development, but with its fine-grained tannins, it remains surprisingly elegant.
