Colour: Deep ruby red.
Bouquet: Vibrant perfumed fresh berry fruit aromas of cassis, blackberry and black olives accompanied by dusty vanilla oak and chocolate characters derived from barrel fermentation and maturation.
Palate: Complex palate displays rich primary fruit of blackberry and cassis with some traditional cabernet minty notes. These flavours are accompanied by fruitcake, chocolate and toasty cedar oak derived from extended maceration, barrel fermentation and ageing. This is a medium to full bodied wine style with a long fine-grained tannin finish.
Cellar: Drinking well now, but will develop further with four to ten years cellaring.
