[SOLD-OUT] Braida Bricco Della Bigotta Barbera d'Asti 2011

This Barbera undergoes extended maceration with careful cap management before spending 18 months maturing in oak barriques. It spends a further year aging in bottle before release.

The wine is an intense ruby red showing aromas of liquorice, violets, plum and vanilla. The palate is intense with sour cherry compote and plum flavours, roasted coffee beans and white pepper. It is very well balanced, rubenesque and would be a good accompaniment to roast meats, wild game or hard cheese.

CHARACTERISTICS:

ruby red colour with purple hues. Rich, intense and persistent aromas of liquorice, violet, plum and vanilla.
