Wine Front 94+ Points!
Campbell Mattinson 94+ Points!"In some ways it's effortless and easy-going " Claret-like " but it's all class through the finish. This is a good look for Bowen cabernet. Seamless, finely tannic, full of sweet redcurrant-like fruit and kissed by cedary, smoky, clovey oak. It's medium-weight and quite perfectly pitched."
The Wine Front, 13 March 2014
"Good, deep red/purple hue. Slightly dusty, musty patina overlies a typical cassis cabernet aroma. The flavour is very cabernet, with lots of cassis and blackcurrant, a dash of cedar, and the tannins are very smooth and measured, the finish balanced. Good wine; needs time."
