"The first wine bottled from this vineyard with vine age of eight years. The semi mature nose offers a mix of red and dark berries and fruits with underlying complex spices. At six years of age it has pure fruit definition with emerging savoury and mineral characteristics. The palate is full, rich, fine and long with beautifully balanced, flowing, supple tannins. It is very delicious now and will continue to improve for several years and, with our experience of Original Vineyard and Block 5, remain on a plateau of excellent drinking for many years beyond."
