"Medium full-red-purple colour; bouquet is meaty, savoury forest leaf-little and some bunchy root-vegetable notes. In the mouth it's ample and drying with lots of sandy tannins - a more muscular pinot within the Bindi context, and solidly structured around a core of lovely sweet fruit." - Huon Hooke 

 

"This is a deeply sentimental wine from a vineyard planted in a time of great emotion for loved family. It sits alongside our house and pays tribute to a beautiful mentor and the Bindi founder, Darshan Dhillon. In some ways it's a dialled up Original Vineyard; wonderful perfume and charm across the palate. The 2021 Darshan is super pure, shows rose petal fragrance, is quite spicy and has fruits in the red cherry and raspberry spectrum. It is very pure and fresh. The palate is textured and lavish, fresh, vibrant, intense, very long and flowing. It will take six years to fully settle and will drink beautifully for a few decades." - Bindi Wines
