Soft round flavours of berries and spice bounce around the mouth with the vibrant effervescence. A touch of sweetness is balanced by the long savoury finish.
Cellaring
This wine is great when drunk young but will soften and
continue to develop complex characters in the bottle for the next ten years or more. Drink it with a sharp cheese and saucisson sec or a Chinese style roasted pork belly. It is also the perfect Christmas meal accompaniment!
Vintage
Slightly wetter and cooler than average helped keep the wines nourished and well foliated. Some extra
foliage reduction in the vineyard helped reduce moisture in the canopy. The vintage period provided very good ripening and harvest conditions with clear days and cool nights. A classic vintage that gave birth to very elegant and fine wines."
