"The 2019 Meursault Village, which includes 20% from Blagny, was the only cru racked in tank during my tasting. It has a crisp, clean walnut and dried honey bouquet, hints of white chocolate coming through. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, quite citric in style, and tensile with a focused, Puligny-like finish. Very precise for a Village Cru." - Neal Martin
"His stronghold for whites. Mostly on clay at the foot of the slope. Plus a parcel underneath the wood in Blagny above La Pièce sous le Bois from Matrot. In 2019 they did 20 hl/ha. He doesn’t usually mix his own and bought grapes out of curiosity until final blending.
Broad and quite rich on the nose. Quite sweet on palate entry. Halfway to old-fashioned Meursault. Long." - Jancis Robinson
